Yes, the set is made in China, because Moso Bamboo is growing in China, where it covers about 8 million acres, or 30,000 km 2. Also bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, so we decided to produce our toothbrushes in China in the modern factory, which has all quality certificates.
The bristles are made from Dupont Tynex Nylon. Currently, the only toothbrushes that are 100% biodegradable have bristles that are made of pig hair. Those bristles production involves slaughtering pigs whose hairs are removed and processed into bristles. This is not totally humanly. These days we are working to develop a 100% compostable toothbrush made from plants.
Yes, no animal testing, no animal parts. Only plant-based components are used.
